Meet the Founder
Keely Johnson founded Palm Pilates Studio in 2019 after she fell in love with her experience at a Reformer Pilates Studio in Nashville, TN, where she was pursuing her music career at the time. As a Singer, Songwriter, Keely loved the creative element and endless possibilities for unique and fun full-body movements that Reformer Pilates allowed. Knowing she wanted to teach the practice to others, Keely began training as an instructor through Balanced Body and began her teaching in 2014. In 2019, Keely felt a calling to bring the Pilates method back to her hometown on the Gulf Coast; thus, Palm Pilates was born.
Beginning in her small home studio teaching private sessions, Palm Pilates quickly grew to what is now a fully operational Reformer Pilates studio with two locations and a core team of instructors and members. “It has been a joy of mine to watch others fall in love with Pilates like I did and feel in control of their bodies,” Keely shares, “I’ve watched clients gain strength, flexibility, and become free of pain.” As Joseph Pilates said, “Change happens through movement and movement heals.” For Keely, Reformer Pilates can truly be for everyone, and her workouts are designed to be just that. Keely says that sharing the gift of Pilates with others and the studio’s success and growth wouldn’t be possible without her amazing team of instructors on her side.

“Change happens through movement, and movement heals." —Joseph Pilates
Keely Johnson
The founder of Palm Pilates Studios, Keely is certified by Balanced Body on the Pilates Reformer and mat and has completed training on the Pilates Trapeze/Cadillac. Keely first discovered reformer Pilates at a studio in Nashville, TN, and immediately knew it was her favorite workout. She began her Pilates instructor training through Balanced Body and began instructing group reformer classes in 2014 while pursuing her music career as a singer, songwriter in Music City. “Like songwriting, I love the creative aspect of designing classes,” she says. “The diversity of full-body-movement possibilities on the reformer is a game changer.” Keely believes the Pilates reformer provides a feel-good workout and can truly be for everyone—you can take on your day feeling energized after a reformer workout or wind down at the end of your work day feeling rejuvenated. When Keely has downtime from managing the studios and teaching, you can find her enjoying time with family and friends, traveling, loving on her pets, singing, or strumming her guitar.

Laura Einreinhofer
Laura is a military spouse and mom of 3. She has always had a love for fitness and nutrition but found her true passion in Pilates. Her love for Pilates led her to Balanced Body reformer training. “My favorite thing about reformer Pilates is how in one class you will increase flexibility and strength by working every muscle from your head to your toes- including muscles you didn’t know existed!” She loves every minute spent at the studio and especially loves watching the changes and growth in her clients and herself. Laura strives to make each class fun, challenging, and unique. She says, "I've found a community at Palm Pilates Studio where I am surrounded by love and support while I get to pursue my passion." When she is not at the studio, she loves to hang out with the family, swim in the pool, go to the beach, or travel to dance competitions with her oldest daughter.
tracy melvin
Tracy was introduced to Pilates following a series of orthopedic injuries as part of physical therapy. As Joe Pilates said, “Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things.” Tracy shares, “My life was changed during that first session. I immediately found strength, stability, and body awareness and I was hooked.” She’s been practicing Pilates for 20 years and still finds joy in watching others find benefits of the method. Teaching for more than ten years, Tracy is comprehensively trained by Pilates Sports Center and Balanced Body. She has also completed her classical Pilates certification from the prestigious Real Pilates® by Alycea Ungaro to further her education. As a third-generation Pilates teacher, Tracy was educated by teachers taught by direct proteges of Joseph Pilates, an experience that allowed her to enrich the benefits of her and her clients. When not working or in the studio, you’ll likely find her spending time with family, friends, and her Pilates pup, Cooper.
Lori dEAton
Lori is a Florida Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, anatomy enthusiast, and advocate for mindful movement in many forms. Lori is trained on the reformer by Balanced Body. “Pilates combines elements from my first 3 loves: yoga, circus arts, and resistance training. It’s a recipe for one very efficient and effective workout,” she says. The most important element for Lori is the sense of community in the space—she loves how everyone encourages one another to enjoy and grow in their practice. She believes strength, compassion, and connections are powerful medicines. Outside the studio, you will most likely find her chilling in a hammock or communing in her garden with her plants and four legged friends.

Her personality infuses her classes with a fun vibe that keeps customers laughing as they challenge and tone their muscles. Lynne’s conscientious nature allows her to relate to each student, properly guiding their individual needs so that they can achieve their unique potential to its fullest.
